Operation: GRILL FARE Raffle Official Rules

The cost for one (1) raffle ticket is $5.00, or five (5) for $20.00.

VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover payments are accepted at time of purchase in the Gift Shop only. Checks and money orders should be made payable to “ASOMF.” If the bank declines an entrant’s check or credit card charge, the entry ticket will be declared invalid. The purchase of raffle tickets does not qualify as a tax-deductible charitable contribution.

Individual purchasers of raffle tickets must be 18 years of age or older.

The Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation (ASOMF), a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, will receive 100% of the profit raised by the sale of raffle tickets to support the educational and operational activities of the organization.

Estimated prize package value: $1,200.00

Completed entries must be in the possession of the ASOMF (100 Bragg Blvd, Fayetteville, NC 28301) by 5:00 p.m. EST on February 28, 2008, for the Special Forces Grill drawing on February 29, 2008 at 10:00 am. Incomplete entries will be disqualified. All entries shall become the property of the ASOMF. The ASOMF is not responsible for lost, misdirected, or delayed entries.


WINNING CHANCES

A maximum of 6000 tickets will be sold. Each ticket represents one chance to win. You may enter as many times as you like. Chances of winning the prize depend on the number of eligible tickets sold. Overall, an entrant has a 1 in 6000 chance of winning the Grand Prize, if all 6000 tickets are sold.


ELIGIBILITY

People employed at the Airborne & Special Operations Museum, as GS/Department of the Army or Foundation staff, and their immediate family members are not eligible to win. Prize sponsors and their immediate families are not eligible to win.

Winner will be determined by a random drawing on February 29, 2008 at 10:00am.
Winner need not be present to win.

Winner will be notified by phone and/or email, and by certified mail with return receipt requested by March 7, 2008

Winner must claim prize within two (2) weeks of the raffle drawing date, or a new winner will be drawn. The prize is not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded.

Decisions of the contest judges are final - no substitutions will be available.

Each raffle ticket purchased shall constitute an "entry" into the raffle, and the person to whom the raffle ticket is registered shall be the "entrant." More than one name may be stated on the ticket registration form; however, the ticket shall be registered to the first name listed, who shall constitute the sole "entrant" for that ticket. The winning entrant shall be the "winner" of the prize. It is the sole responsibility of the entrant to allocate the prize to other participants in case of a multiple entry registration, and the winning entrant shall hold the ASOMF harmless in case of conflicting claims or disputes among multiple claimants.

By claiming the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph and municipality of residence for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation: radio broadcasts, newspapers and other publications and in television or film releases, slides, videotape, distribution over the internet, and picture date storage) which the ASOMF may deem appropriate.

In accepting the prize, the winner, and any guest(s), acknowledges that the Airborne & Special Operations Museum and the ASOMF may not be held liable for any loss, damages, or injury associated with accepting or using this prize(s).

Detailed contest rules applicable to this contest, including contest entry dates, how to enter, prize value, and any restrictions applicable to the prize, are available upon request from the ASOMF.


SHIPPING

The ASOMF will ship the prize to the winner within 14 business days following the day of notification. The ASOMF will ship to the winner within the 48 contiguous states using the best means available.

Shipping and handling costs to areas outside of the 48 contiguous states (includes: Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, other countries & territories) are solely the responsibility of the winner.
