The entrance walk to the museum is lined with large memorial stones representing many of airborne and special operations units.

These stones are purchased by the units or associations as a lasting memorial and a permanent part of the ASOM. Thirty-three stones now line the walk, beginning with the Parachute Test Platoon. All flag bearing units are invited to join the walk.

Proceeds from the memorial sales support the museum's programming and exhibits.
