The Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation, in Partnership with First Citizens Bank, Hosts the First Annual Easter Egg Scramble

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Join the Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation, in partnership with First Citizens Bank, for the first Easter Egg Scramble, Saturday, April 3.

Beginning at 8am the Museum Foundation will host a pancake and sausage breakfast with the Easter Bunny in the Reflection Garden. The breakfast will be limited to the first 75 people. The breakfast costs $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger. Reservations are required by calling 643-2778. Advance tickets may also be purchased in the Museum Gift Shop.

From 9am to 2pm there will be an Easter Egg Scramble for kids 10 and under. The Easter Egg Scramble has been divided into two scrambles for each of the five age groups.

9:30am children two and under Noon children two and under
10am three year olds 12:30pm three year olds
10:30am four and five year olds 1pm four and five year olds
11am six and seven year olds 1:30pm six and seven year olds
11:30am eight and nine year olds 2pm eight and nine year olds

The Scramble is free to all children thanks to First Citizens Bank. All Egg Scrambles will be in the Museum’s Reflection Garden. Children should bring their own basket. One adult may accompany two year olds and younger on the field. Children must pick up their own eggs.

Photos with the Easter Bunny, from 9am to 3pm, cost only $5. Halftrack rides will also be available for $5.

THE MUSEUM
Located in downtown Fayetteville, the Airborne & Special Operations Museum is part of the U.S. Army Museum System and tells the story of Army airborne and special operations units from 1940 to the present. Museum hours: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, noon – 5 p.m. Sunday. Closed Monday; open Federal holiday Mondays.
