Constituted 1 June 1944 in the Army of the United States as Headquarters
and Headquarters Detachment, 17th Airborne Antiaircraft Battalion
and assigned to the US Army Forces in the China-Burma-India Theater.
Activated 22 June 1944 at Moran Airfield, Burma. Disbanded 9 July
1945 at Dinjan, India.
