Constituted 1 June 1944 in the Army of the United States as Headquarters
and Headquarters Detachment, 18th Airborne Antiaircraft Battalion
and assigned to the US Army Forces in the China-Burma-India Theater.
Activated 22 June 1944 at Kurmitola, India. (Arrived in Burma 16
January 1945 and returned to India, 29 June 1945.) Disbanded 9 July
1945 at Camp Kanchapara, India.
