The Airborne & Special Operations Museum stands in honor of the legacy of the many soldiers who have served this country and given all. Donations can be made in Honor or Memory of a service member, or loved one to the museum. We are happy to send notification to the honored person or next of kin of your donation in Honor or Memory. Donations can be made here and be sure to include the name and address of who you would like us to notify.
Donations spurred by an enjoyable visit, or other feelings of generosity are happily accepted either through the donation boxes located in the lobby, donations made by card in the gift shop, or a non-designated donation made here.
The Airborne & Special Operations Museum Foundation Endowment (ASOMFE) is a fund that will allow you to support the museum into the future. The ASOMFE is administered by the Cumberland Community Foundation, a public, non-profit foundation with more than twenty years of endowment management experience. One hundred percent of your gift is added to the principal of the fund, and only investment earnings are used to support operations and programming at the museum.
Gifts to the ASOMFE can be made in cash, publicly traded securities, mutual fund shares, tangible personal property or real estate. Any of these or other assets may be given outright or bequeathed to the ASOMFE. The endowment may also be designated as a beneficiary of an insurance policy or will. Furthermore, your gift may be dedicated to honor or memorialize a family member, friend or business associate. This is especially appropriate for someone who has served in airborne or special operations units.
Having a paver stone engraved at the Airborne & Special Operations Museum is an excellent way to permanently honor a friend or family member. All proceeds from the paver program go to supporting the museum. Pavers costing $250 or above are considered tax deductible. More information on pavers can be found here.
