Tet Offensive Focus Exhibit

March 4 @ 10:00 am - May 1 @ 4:00 pm

3d Brigade Combat Team, 82d Airborne Division deployed to the Republic of Vietnam in February 1968 in response to the Tet Offensive.
The Offensive was an unexpected series of attacks launched in South Vietnam by the North Vietnamese Army (NVA) during Tet, the Vietnamese New Year holiday.
3d Brigade was initially responsible for combat operations in the Hue-Phu Bai area of the I Corps sector. The Brigade continued operations until late October before redeploying to Fort Liberty, then Fort Bragg, North Carolina in December 1969. 3d Brigade is the only 82d Airborne Division element to fight in Vietnam.
This exhibit displays items from both U.S. and NVA Soldiers. It was curated by Zoey Bernier and is currently located in the ASOM’s lobby.
Zoey Bernier began her Mentorship with the U.S. Army Airborne and Special Operations Museum in June 2023. She holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Oregon.
